Starting your Business Portable Recorder
Main operations
1. Power on and recording:
press and hold the Record/Stop button down for 3 senconds, the indicator will light
on “ blue” ,which indicate the machine Located in preparation state, after a while the
indicator become “pale yellow” and twinkle, the machine is recording video & voice.
Notice: There is a preparation time before recording. Please take patience and wait
until the indicator light on “pale yellow” and twinkle. Do not take any operations during this
time, such as re-pressing the button or connecting it to your PC.
2. Recording:
Please place the recorder under enough illuminance. Keep the recorder pen upright
and 50cm from target at least.,Then you can get perfect video . the data will be saved
automatically when the recoding time beyond 60min.
3. stand-by mode:
Press the Record/Stop button to stop recording when the machine is recording ,by this
time, the data start to be saved and the yellow color light still twinkle; After finished
saving , the indicator turned to “blue”. When The machine stop recording , Without any
operation ,The machine will shut down after 3 minutes to save battery power .
Notice: Please wait during the saving time. If you do other operations, the recorder
could not respond.
4. Continue recording:
When the machine stop recording, Press the Record/Stop button to continue the
recorder recording ,At the same time, the indicator turned from “blue” to “yellow” and
twinkle immediately. Every time recording will be saved to a relevant file.
5. Photo mode:
When the machine is in stand-by mode(the indicator light on “ blue”), press the
Record/Stop button 3 times continuously, the indicator will become “blue” and “pale
yellow” twinkling alternately, the machine entered Photo mode.
In the Photo mode, turn the recording len toward the target, press the Record/Stop
button once, the indicator will become “blue” twinkling, the machine starts to
photograph. The photos will be saved two times, you may choose a satisfied
picture from them. Each time the photography finished, the indicator will change
back to “blue” and “pale yellow” twinkling alternately, waiting next photograph.
Without any operation, The machine will shut down after 3 minutes to save battery
power .
Notice: To obtain the clear picture, please keep the machine static and not
shake duing photographing.

6. Switch Photo mode to Stand-by mode:
When the machine is in Photo mode( “blue” and “pale yellow” twinkling alternately),
press the Record/Stop button 3 times continuously, the indicator light on “ blue”,
the machine entered stand-by mode.
7. Shut down:
When the recorder is working, press and hold the Record/Stop button down for 3
senconds, the “pale yellow” light will twinkle quickly,the recorder start to execute the
shutdown order;if the recorder already worked upto 30 minutes ,The shut down process
may continue about one and half minutes , the yellow color light still twinkle at this
period .Until the indicator went out,the machine shut down
Notice: The shut down process may continue about one and half minutes, in this
period, the machine will arrange the data order and optimize memory space, please be
patient to wait.
Other operations
a) Charging:
The recorder pen can be charged with the adapter or the portable charger or by
connecting to PC. When charging, the blue color light twinkle, when The battery’s power
supply is full the indicator keeps blue.
Notice: The internal battery of the recorder pen is lithium battery, can be charged and
used anytime. But for the first five times, it’s better to run out before charging and charge
to full before using.
b) Be saved automatically:
There are 3 conditions ,The machine will be saved automatically.
. The battery’s power supply is low
. The memory of the machine is full
. the recording time beyond 60min
c) Shut down automatically
There are 3 conditions,the machine will shut down automatically
. The battery’s power supply is low (at this time ,after the blue color light twinkled 8
seconds,the recorder pen Shut down automatically)
. The memory of the machine is full (at this time, after the blue color light and the
yellow color light twinkled together 8 second ,the recorder Shut down automatically
. When The machine stop recording , Without any operation ,The machine will shut
down after 3 min

d) Time setting
When the recorder pen system has broken down,The time of the recorder pen will make
a mistake,you can set the time again :
Edit a text file according to the format of “20080806153000”(that is 4 digits for the year,
2 digits for the month, 2 digits for the day, 2 digits for minute and 2 digits for second),Save
the file as a text file and named it time,then put this file under the root directory of the
removable disk when the recorder be connected to computer, when you power on the
machine, you can see the time have been set up automaticly.
e) Reset:
When the recorder pen system has broken down, please use the suitable non-metallic
tool to press the reset button,in this way,the recorder pen system will restart again.
f) Writing:
Rolling on the lower pen-holder, then the pen point is showed. At this time,you can
write with the recorder pen

Connect to PC with USB Port
. Connect the machine to the computer when the recorder stop working or shut down.The
indicator lights on blue at this time ,after a while ,the blue color light will twinkle during it be
connected to the computer
. Function as removable disk when connect the recorder pen to PC ,playback the video files
stored the build-in memory via the computer
. Function as PC camera when the machine be connected to the computer:
Connect the machine to the computer when the recorder stop working or shut down. After
the removable disk sign appeared on the computer, press and hold the Record/Stop
button down for 3 senconds,at this time , the removable disk sign disappeared on the
computer ,after a while the USB video device sign appeared on the computer, now you can
use the recorder as PC camera

update your recorder pen at every period.
l Record temperature: Natural temperature
l Record humidity: Natural humidity for life. This is not a waterproof product.
l record illuminance: Please use the machine at lightful environment. Do not make the
strengthen rays focus on the machine.
l Clearance: Do not use it under heavy ash. Clean the camera with soft paper or cloth.
Other: Do not use it under heavy magnetic field or heavy electric field.
